Via Bad Robot's Twitter page, we have learned that principle photography has begun for Star Wars Episode VII directed by JJ Abrams. They posted the image to the left with a tweet that simply
said "#dayone". The movie will probably film for most of the summer but thanks to Star Trek, JJ Abrams has mastered how to maintain his secrets and keep sets closed so I am doubting that much info will leak about the movie or its plot.
