This weekend at the San Diego Comic-Con, Disney+ officially
confirmed that Amandla Stenberg (The Eddy, Rue in The Hunger Games) has been cast as the lead in Star Wars: The Acolyte. The series is set 100 years before Star Wars: The Phantom Menace during era of the High Republic when Jedi were at their strongest and the Sith were thought to have been eliminated from the Galaxy. Nothing else was revealed about the upcoming Disney+ series.
